About Us

Genesis Behavioral Services, Inc., is a provider of mental health and substance use disorder services. We provide these services in community based residential treatment facilities (CBRF’s) throughout Wisconsin. These CBRFs are licensed under Chapter DHS 83 of the Wisconsin Statutes.

Genesis has transformed a 24 bed facility at 5427 West Villard Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53218 into a Substance Use Disorder and Trauma Informed Care center for adult men and women. Our services are both evidenced based, with a mixture of gender specific and/or co-ed service provision.

STAFF AND SERVICES

The facility is operational 24/365/7 days a week. Staffing is provided by care givers, a program manager, and counselors; and also on a consultation basis, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians are available. Referral to outside specialist healthcare professionals and facilities is made as needed.
The resident capacity for the facility is 24.
The client group served is adult men and women with substance use and mental health issues.
The program goals are to provide a safe, secure and nurturing temporary home to therapeutically treat identified Substance Use Disorders and mental health issues associated with trauma. We help reclaim their lives, rejoin their families, and transition back into society as empowered, recovering and productive members of the community at large.
